Unfortunately the food was beyond words great but the area is high in crime so I wouldn't advise going when it's dark outside only when it's light . I truly enjoyed the greens , Mac and cheese and the tilapia fish dinner seasoned very well
Incredibly delicious beef ribs that were perfectly seasoned and slow cooked (fall off the bone softness). The hush puppies were delightful! And the workers suggested trying a mix of lemonade and sweet tea, which also hit. The sweet potato pies we took away to bring back to Toronto also went over really well with our families. My favourite part of the entire experience was that the whole store was staffed by Bengalis who made me feel right at home, will definitely revisit when I'm in DC.
This was the best food I’ve had in the DMV! Macaroni and cheese, candy yams collard greens. The fish is made fresh too. The sides are DOIN IT!
Real good soul food. They have a pick 2 & pick 3 combo platters w/seafood and fried chicken wings. A really delicious variety of desserts and a DMV staple "LG Half&Half"
